So my last post which was about two months ago was all about how I did not accept Google's fantastic one-time promotion. Two months later, I return to blogger and found out that to continue blogging on blogger, I have to sign up for a google account whether I want to or not.

Somehow I mistaken the part about "what I wanted my google account to be named" as "what my email address was".Long story short, my google account is now timho_foreverovers@hotmail.com

And let's see, for anyone out there still interested to read about my life.....I have officially finished my Poly education, going to NS on July 13 and just dyed my hair copper red. Yep.

With the urge to type something, I went to blogger, login and was offered an appearently (hopefully) one chance opportunity to upgrade my the functions in my blog in two simple steps by new owner, Google. One of those step was to sign up for a Free Google Account. Being the lousy in looking for good deals guy, I declined Google Generous offer.

I updated my blog!

Forget about the initial excitment, if you are reading this, you are one of the very few if not the only person who still visit this blog for god knows what reason. This blog was definitely shutting down but for some reason, I decided to just punch in an entry today in school.

I could classify you into 3 different category.

1) You just know me, for some reason you also find me interesting and so you happen to click on my link while visiting some of my friends' blog who are linked to me. What you don't know is that I have stop updating for more than 2 months already. You probably were hoping to find out more about my life....Just that I aint one of those bloggers who blog about what happen in my life.

2) You are one of my friends and you kinda like my writing style. I can't classify my style of writing but somehow it seems to appeal to you.

3) You have a crush on me

Now the question is, will I be updating soon? If ever again.

The answer is simple, I will blog when I have something to say, whether positive or negative....whether is bitching about the Government or about someone.

There is a saying that one should never celebrate too early. Well attachment is going to end in 3 weeks time. It's going to be a tough end as well unlike what I originally thought. Basically there is still 2 episodes to shoot instead of one.

Nevertheless. I been thru five months already. Have took ALOT of experience from the 1st full time job that I have ever had. While I would not be so quick as to compared it to NS experience, I dare say that my attachment time aint excatly as fortunate as the many others in class.

"Everyone attached to a production house and have enjoyed themselves. Raise up your hand". I doubt there be many people.

I am unable to access my msn now and that is pissing me off more than it should be. Feeling so unconnected to the rest of my msn contacts......literally.

And while I am on the topic of msn, I do realized that MSN serves to function as a very good place to build relationship, initate chat esp when it has to do with the opp sex. With MSN, it's so much easier to simply grab the email of a certain "someone" that you like....and start chatting with her! Pretending of course that you just happen to want to add many people onto ur list where in reality you have only added that "one" specific girl. And for added bonus, you might even find out that the "someone" has nothing much for the day and you can easily ask if she want to hangout/have lunch/ have dinner/watch movie or even something else if you have more creativity than the average person like me.

For the record, I am not advocating setting up dates via msn, but just imagine the alternative. If there is NO msn.

We guys would have to go through the magnificant process of getting a girl's number from her friend. Go thru the tedious task of answering their suspicious friend as to why we require "her" number and then feel like a complete idiot calling her up and asking her if she is free only to realize that she is actually having a holiday. of course the smarter one's send an SMS instead and then wonder why they din receive a reply. Again for the record, I have never tried some a dumbass idea.

A fresh start?

Despite myself mentioning that I would not be updating my blog till the end of next month. Events and outlook upon situation over the past week have make me realize that there is no point in making my blog suffer simply because I feel too busy and depress with working life to bother to blog.

One thing I have realize now is there really is no point to indulge in self-pity. No point in feeling sorry for one self because in the end, you only make yourself and perhaps the people around you feel worst. Having said that, there is also no point in pretending you are okay, that things are fine and that you are strong when you are actually struggling.

God have taught me a fantastic lesson the past few weeks, in fact looking back, he has always been there moulding me throughout the years.

I dun have much time, I have to wake up early for shoot tomorrow so I got to make whatever I want to say quick.

Lately I have been pondering over the things that have been happening around me, a lot more than usual. Some of you may have noticed that, some of you may know that and some of you may be surprise to hear that. In any case, it is true.

I know some of my friends, people that I actually do care about have been like undergoing difficult times in life. Some more difficult than others. A number of them have been having such a feeling in their heart for a long time which some are experiencing it for their first time. The problems of course differ from people to people.

Notice I have not even come close to mentioning any names so far. Well it is not that I don't want to personalised my entry to specific people. I know that writing out specific names and sending them an encouragement via blog can be very encouraging indeed. However that is still not a long-term solution to problems, many internal stuggles that we face lay right beneath us. Way deeper than we will choose to admit.

If it was up to me, I will definitely take all of your pain away. But Timo is no God. I can't do it.

Post Election Goodies

Yes the elections may have just been like over two months ago, but it doesn't take the shameful Public Transport system of Singapore too long to try improve their profit margin. Comfort Delgro has taken the first step into ensuring that the next five years will be a glorious harvest by increasing it's fare significantly though you might think it is only $2.40 to $2.50 if you read The Straits Times too often.

The Public Transport Council though has managed to come out with a deceptive idea to trick Singaporeans into believing that they the situation in Singapore will improve. The cleverly crafted new guidelines for SBS buses may sound intelligent and appeal attractively to idiots like Mah Bow Tan, but it definitely doesn't fool anyone who even bother to think a bit.

One of the new guidelines which is in place states that 85% of bus services should not deviate more than 5mins then their supposed arrived timing.

1) Firstly what kind of ridiculous guideline place a new rule without revealing what the current statatstic is. For all we know, the current average might be 90% and 85% will end up being a drop in standard. But never mind, I shall give the PTC/SBS the benefit of the doubt for this one.

2) Yes 85% of buses may come on time on average, but there are probably gonna be the feeder service that goes 30mins runs and not your service that travels longer distance, for example 168. So basically Bus 168 that goes from tampinese to woodlands can come later all the time as long as the feeder service bus comes on time.

3) Really who give a shit if a bus arrive on time or not? It's not like "oh 168 is suppose to come 11.50am, I came here at 11.47am and it's already 11.56am. Why is the bus not here?" The dumbass at PTC are definitely the only one's in Singapore who thinks singaporeans know what time their buses are coming. Yes they got some weird name technology that nobody knows about that will inform you what time the next bus is arriving. But nobody really knows how to use them nor do they wanna pay 50cents to know that their bus is coming at 11am even though it is 11.05am already.

Please don't make things complicating, just increase the freaking frequency of the service and that is enough. We don't need any TV mobile or new buses that have more standing room and less seats.

To PTC, Get the hell out of making all this deceitful new guidelines when they won't make any difference. Just stay with your current portfolio of pretending to consider every fare hike application before saying yes to it. Do what you do best.

FAQ with Timothy Ho

If SBS is going to increase it's fare today, will you be in support of it?

Ans: That is a difficult question but I will have to say yes. Considering the fact that service will never improve unless we helpless consumer pay for it. For example just today, I waited 25 mins for 168 before it arrives on my way to woodlands. To top things off, it was a useless short bus that came, luckily of course i managed to squeeze a seat for myself if not i would have to stand for 35 mins on a rocking bus.

On my way back to tampinese, I managed to improve by waiting 30mins and therefore missing my favorite TV show. Unfortunately the TV mobile TV wasn't working on the bus so i did not get a chance to even catch a lousy repeat Singapore Idol telecast.
Therefore I will definitely support any price hike, even to the extend of $1 if it will save me from such a horrifying experience again.

Alternatively, i can also choose to take the 1h25min ass hurting MRT ride, the $19 dollar taxi ride or the 40km walk home.

I met a classmate of mine, Deanna, on the MRT yesterday and we had a nice chat on the way to work. Yeah, WORK even though we are suppose to be classmates. Funny eh.

Anyway we were chatting and I was telling her that everyone from class now is either 1) very busy with work or 2) too depressed with life. Though I can't remember what her respond was, I am relatively sure she agreeed with me. To motivate ourselves, we promised each other we are gonna hang out with one another after IPP, so remember ar deanna!

I can count with one hand the amount of people enjoying work..the first one without doubt is Miss Zhang Xinyi. Probably the most fortunate person on attachment, she enjoys her time at work while the rest of us have to drag our sorry asses to office everyday. Also the trio of guys at MDA also seemed to be having the time of their life.

And just to make this entry worser than it already is. I am gonna end it here. It is a typical entry to personify a demeaning period of life.

Singaporeans says NO to democracy

Your vote have spoken! Pretense Democracy reign once again for the next 5 years. Singaporeans all over the country will once again have Mah Bow Tan for another term in office.

5 things Singaporeans did vote for in the recent election

1) Hike in Public transport, hike in power price and just about hike in everything that gets used everyday from every household

2) A strong mandate for the PAP, which provide even more reasons why GST taxes should go up and CPF contribution should remain excatly where it is despite the 'improving' economy

3) Mah Bow Tan and George Yeo

4) A big reply to the opposition party. No point in bringing up issues (Problems for the PAP) if you are unable to provide any solution to the problems.

5) Another 5 years of Monarchy to Singapore.

The elections did reveal a few things that were once thought of as rumours. Firstly Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the son of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, admited being unable to manage anything more than 10 opposition member in Parliament. One would think that he can probably manage at most 3 opposition member. What fantastic leadership ability he has.

Also the truth is finally out. The PAP had indeed resorted to using tax payers money to specially attempt to tempt residents of Hougang and Potong Pasir. Money that were supposed to be channelled towards the revamping of the respective areas are not removed simply because the residents there said no to another 5 years of absoloute monarchy. Of course, Mah Bow Tan put it into perspective best when he said "the residents there decided that they were not ready for
it(upgrading) and so we will respect their decision.

What a load of f**K up nonsense. Who will say no to upgrading?They will only say no to Eric Low. Now retired from politics by the way. Never willing to serve, never will serve. Despite Goh Chok Tong recommendations.

With Discrimination now so prominenent in Singapore, discrimination in the form of anyone not pro-PAP being discriminated against either by losing their job as Mr Brown has found out the hard way or being mocked as having 'no solutions' to problems they bring up, it is difficult to see how the state of politics in Singapore can get any worst.

Honestly the wimps at SMRT should heed the advice of one guy who commented on the CNA forum. "if they want to increase the fare, just say so lah. No need to give us blah blah blah reasons"

PS: A full flege political/Anti-PAP blog would soon be coming. That blog sole intend would be to act as a check and balance to the bias reporting done by The Straits Times.

Okay I will admit, the rumours are true....many have suspected it for a long time but I will come out clean and say it today

This Blog Is Lost

You see serious politics in one entry, an angry boy in the next, a day of my life in another and me feeling depress as well. Unlike other bloggers who either blog about a certain topic, or talk about how their life has been...or about their spiritual journey, mine have absolutely no direction at the moment.

Of course it doesn't help when I am not sure who are reading my blog and who are not.

Some housekeeping issues for me to settle first. I want to remind everyone reading here that I am personally issueing an NC-16 rating on my blog....and I am not trying to be funny here. We have all heard about how bloggers have the responsiblity to self-censor their own blog since and so here I am taking personal responsblity of my own blog and posts. If you are below the age of 16, I strongly discourage you from visiting my blog until you have had your sweet 16.

Reasons for such a decision you might ask. Well firstly, as you may have noticed over the last couple of entries. I have a tendancy to use words that could be considered as offensive to many.

Also since I do touch on 'sensitive' topics such as politics from time to time, I have no wish to influence a not so mature mind, unlike the People Action Party (PAP) who unethically uses education in the form of Social Studies to manipulate students to favour their party. In fact some of you younger people may have already know that I tend to not go so much into details into Singapore Politics even if you should ask me. I will just tell you to go find out for yourself.

Finally for all those out there who tend to disagree with my view, let me just remind you that on this blog. The only person who has the "RIGHTS' to say what is correct and what is wrong is me and only me. While almost anyone is welcome to give their opinion...these opinion better not be dumb comments seeking to just irritate me. Such comments will of course be ignored as usual and should anyone attempt to act like a basterd like BECKY on Dinesh' s blog....the person better watch out and not let me find out who he/she is....

Just for the record, I have actually edited this entry so if the words doesn't seemed to sound right together, you know why. I will go on record to admit that some of the vocabs i used in the previous edition was kinda out of place and typed in the heat of the moment. Therefore I thought it is only appropiate that I removed them. Of course, the frightenening thought of having to contribute to the SCV monthly fee or not having EPL does seemed to make me consider over what I had previously said.

The Marketing manager, Airtime director, and Programming Executives all deserved a big THUMP on their back for a bloody well done job so far. By cutting to advertisements straight after the match have ended, Starhub has ensured that it's advertisers get maximum value out for their advertisers.

For your information, you can thanks macdelivery and LG for all those advertisements right after the match. Plus the idiots giving their dumb comments on who will win the world cup.

Just thought I put in an entry before the next week starts.

Had another weekend spent with the people from class. They came over to my home on friday night and we basically spent the entire night together. And then on saturday i met up wif some of them......AGAIN. We went to watch a band call My Writes that had another two of my classmates playing in it.

We went for supper right after that and despite Mich being soooo niceee as to allow me to sit beside her pretty friend, I managed to be enough of a 'good' boy and kept my attention evenly distributed towards everyone.

Also again, had a nice chat with Cindy on the way back to Simei again.

Basically. 1 night spent with Lincoln, Dinesh and Paris
2 night spent with kel, mich and Cindy

Bottem line......*type what you want* *sniggers*

Sunday was spent with the older cluster youths, we went to East Coast Park(ECP) and basically spent the afternoon there. After that, I went to my cousin's bbq. she is leaving for australia for like 1.5 years to study. Bet her parents and her sis will miss her soooo much. She been helping me out indirectly for attachment actually.....providing the occassional encouragement when i am feeling pissed and also some contacts that I needed.

There are a tons of more serious stuffs I wanna blog about actually, but I am freaking tired now. Wun even be watching Brazil against Australia.

I was reminded that I had a responsiblity to the people who waste 30secs of their day clicking on the "timo"/"timothy" link only to find out that I have yet to update my blog and the last entry was about some girl that no one knows who. So Amanda, I have updated already okay!

Also I think some of you may be getting sick of hearing me rambling on about the latest political issues or my latest negativity towards certain things in life. I suppose I better post a positive entry less Michelle completely decides to stop chatting with me citing "riding herself of negative energy".

So anyway, I am gonna have some sort of gathering for my class people at my house this friday. If you do not know about it, is because Dinesh doesn't want you to come cose i left the invitation job to him. But anyway, this can act like your invitation as well so just info me you are coming. Everyone is welcome as long as they know there is.

I just like to add that Lucas Neill is fast becoming one of the best defender in the world. His performance in his very first world cup match, nothing short of amazing. I would soon expect Real Madrid to try get him for 18million pounds.

But more about myself, mmm seems that some people think I am pretty egoistics which is like shocking news to me cose I have always thought I am pretty honest. I mean, everything good i said about myself is usually the honest truth isn't it? It's not like I generate some lies about myself which are untrue. Makes me think if it is possible to be honest and humble at the same time?

So much for politics over the past few entries. There is nothing like a personal entry on my own personal blog.

Hardly any of you will know who I am referring to, you can all try to guess but they are probably all wrong. What can I say, losing you is hurting me a lot more than I thought. And it pains me all the more that even if you read this entry which I doubt you will. You wun even know it is you I am talking about.

I won't lie and try to say that I am all cool about things. And I know everyone reading this will go "what on earth is timothy talking about". I will remember the quote, the hardest feeling is being beside the one you love knowing you can't have her. And the shit part is I know I can't and there is not a thing I can do about it.

What I do to make you fall for me.

The people I know will tell me to moves on and they are right. Live goes on. But how I wish you would be with me. And I can say one thing, something inside me changed today. Hopefully for the better.

Part 1

In 1997, a successful lawyer decided to take part in an election as an opposition candidate. During one of his rally, he said some unflattery remarks about the PAP and was surprisingly subquesently sued for......guess what, defamation. He ended up having to pay only US$2.1 million to 11 PAP candidates. So on average, each PAP candidates receive a mere $200,000. The lawyer's wife was also brought in to the issue. The successful lawyer, being unable to pay was declared a bankrupt, forecd to flee oversees, and currently there is a warrent for his arrest should he come back to Singapore.

What is the problem with democracy in Singapore? Is the problem the PAP, One day you read in the bias newspaper one PAP candidate saying that the elections is more than just house visiting, the next day you hear another PAP candidate saying how little house the opposition in his ward has visited. One day you hear Mr Goh or Mr Lee challenging the opposition to discuss big issues and not attempt stir up smaller issues and made them big. The next day you hear George Yeo and Wong Kan Seng telling the media why James Gomez should not stand for elections as he is a liar and blah blah blah......So much for discussing big issues.

Maybe the problem with the elections is that the oppositon is simply not good enough...I mean WP has tried it's upmost best to get highly educated people with their Degrees and Masters in *** from *** university. WOW, big deal huh! I mean so are the PAP candidates right? even though people like Mr Khaw gets called the 'kampung minister' by the media so as to deceive the public and mislead the public to assume that they are voting for a down-to-earth minister. I assure you, Mr Khaw, your down to earth minister does not take the MRT and he does not know how shitty the MRT is. Neither does the transport minister.

I am frankly sick and tired of the games played by both PAP and opposition candidates during the recent elections. They played the elections like as if is a football match. A football match managed by non other than a bias SPH referee. I had enough of the empty promises both side made, sick of the media trying to make people like george yeo and cynthia phau look like down-to-earth singaporeans shaking the hands of every elderly wherever they go. Sick of all this bull shit.

A personal attack on Mah Bow Tan.

If I ever hear one more PAP member ever saying that the opposition only create trouble and does not provide any solution to problems. I will do my upmost best to ensure that specific PAP member will eat up his own rubbish. Do you think you are God? No one give you the divine right to say 'so and so' is only all talk and can't do anything at all. The fact that opposition candidates are not elected to parliament prevents them from showing whether or not they can find solutions to problem. No one should say someone else is unable to perform a role unless the person has already have a chance. And If it was up to me, Mr Mah, I will put a WP candidate in the place of yours.

http://singaporeelection.blogspot.com disagree with my view in the previous entry about me saying the blog has a lot of biased opinion. Well my view is that they actually are. Maybe they simply do not want to admit to that. In any case, my point is that you should have your own opinion, not simply what someone tells you. Easier said that done.

One rule of propengda is that the average person wants to have his/her own opinion on issues. However the problem is that most people are simply unable to comprehend the very same issues whereby they want to have their opinion upon. That is where propengda and the mass media comes in.

What propendga attempts to do is to simplify complicating issues so that the layman in the streets will be able to understand the problem. However what the layman in the street does not know is that some facts are deliberately withhold in the 'simplifying process' from him so that the opinion he will finally have in the end is actually generated not by himself, but by the person who attempts to deceive him.

That is what the PAP does so well, Goh Chok Tong is a master in that, just read the papers.

I just want to ask everyone reading this post one question. What will you give for the Truth? And when I say Truth, I refer not only to political truth but all the truth hidden in this world. From the truth of Leonard Da Vinci, the truth of NKF, the truth of the temesak holding, the truth (secrets) of myself, the truth of religion, the truth of space, the truth of the PAP, what are you willing to give for all these things that only God knows?

Sadly for myself and many people, we are happy to live our life the same way. We do not want to know all these truth.

It is official. My next post will be on Politics. More specifically, politics in Singapore. I will post it up on the 28/05/2006, around 12am.

You readers, I assume you guys/girls are regular visitors of this blog of mine will get once and for all, a chance to see the perpesctive of the Singapore politics from a non-bias view. Finally you citizens of Singapore will get the opportunity not to have to read the absolute propengda that you will get the The Straits Times. Neither will you have to go to http://singaporeelection.blogspot.com/. Possibly the most bias opposition website in Singapore. As for readers from the Government, be prepared.

You may be thinking, how will I know if what Timothy is saying is going to be true/objective. The answer to that question is there is no way you will ever know whether what I say is the truth because I am going to touch on subjects whereby the government does not reveal facts about.
The reason why this facts are not available are because they are trying to hide these information from the public. But I say screwed that, just because they do not want to reveal information will not stop me from commenting on the subjects I want to comment upon. And if i get my facts which are not reveal to me, wrong. I will apologize to no one.

Just so everyone knows, I am risking alot here. Yeah I may not have a family to feed and the only job I have is an attachment. But that does not mean the ISD will not be able to come for me in some others ways

You might wonder how come I have suddenly become so charged to be involved in politics. The answer, during the elections, I saw the shameful behavious of certain politicians and I told myself such nonsense will not be tolerated anymore in a 1st world nation like Singapore. Lest of all in politics.

Catching up

I am gonna blog about elections results soon, but not yet at least, the past week has been pretty exhaustive for me.

I have been consistenly working 12 hours a day due to the fact that I was on shoot the past week. I certainly gain alot of experience/knowledge but the lack of sufficient sleep makes it all so not worth it. On thursday, i beat my personal best by working 18 hours. I reach work at 6.45pm and left at 11.45pm. Alright thats 17 hours but I will just round it off to 18 cose 18 sounds more impressive.

Also after this 4 'life-changing' filiming days whereby my life belong literally to Rightangle. It was great to have some sort of freedom and spare time to be able to meet up with some of my classmates. Well not really classmates cose we aint actually together in a class for this semester. but all the same it was nice to see familar faces that only cared about whats the latest happenings (rumours) around the town. It was honestly great to be able to catch up wif classmates over how things have been, pretty weird considering that we were all ready to kick each others ass when we were in school.....I guess the phrase "absence makes the heart grows fonder" does have some truth in it.

And today was a pretty relaxing day too, the 1st for a really long time. It basically reminded me of the holiday mood....Woke up at 12.30pm which was probably the earliest among all those who stay out late for the class gathering last night. Went to uncle's home for lunch. Make my way down to dinesh's house at 4pm along wif cindy and mich...and played a number of dumb games...unfortuantely Dinesh din had his PS2 so we could't use it's "entertainment".

Double standard of the town council

It's a simple issue actually. And it showed that there are double standard/corruptions within the Town Council of Potong Pasir. Either that is the case or Goh Chok Tong and sitoh is a liar.

Both Mr Goh and Sitoh Yih had come out saying that Mr Chiam See Tong will not be able to provide lift landing at every floor as he has promise. Mr Goh claim that there are insufficient funds in the Town Council.

However amazingly should voters vote in Sitoh Yih of the PAP, there will be enough money to provide lift landing, covered walkways and a whole other lot of nonsense for Potong Pasir residents. In fact he will have $80million.

So basically if Sitoh Yih is voted in, there will be money to upgrade alot of things. If Mr Chiam is voted once again. There will be insufficient funds to even upgrade the lifts in the area.

Therefore with such evidences, I hereby conclude that either the Town Council is practising double standard, Or that both SM Goh and Sitoh Yih are liars.

The things around us we don't see

Since it has been more than a week since I last blog, my immediate thoughts were what should I blog about. So there was I thinking

1) Politics in Singapore. But honestly I can count with 2 fingers the amount of people reading my blog that will be remotely interested.

2) My Job so far at Right Angle. Seeing People like Janell, Cindy and Dinesh enjoying their job so much just make it seems that I am having Macdonald's Ice Milo while everyone else is sipping down ice-blended mocha at Starbucks. And the worst part is that sometimes they run out of ice milo so i have to drink tea.

3) Some things which I have notice recently in Singapore.

I am going to comment on number 3. If it doesn't sound like your cup of tea. Please kindly proced to the link 'dinesh'. And please do not click on 'zul'. Nope it's not beacause I don't support his blog but because the link does not work.

Issue number one: Everyday I take the MRT down to work and then back from work. I can't help but notice two things. Firstly, why on earth is it that a 1st world nation such as Singapore that boast a ' World Class Transportion Hub' have 80% of the train's total riders standing up? Why can't the frequency of trains be more rapid?

Secondly I can't help but notice 50% of the faces I see on the MRT have the gloomy depressing look. The kinda look one gets after 4 years in the same shitty job they hate simply beacause the assholes in the PAP tells us not to be choosy during the bad time but to endure. Now can I ask you if you are from MDA or PAP. Is this suppose to be a good time or a bad time? If you say good then where are the jobs? If you say bad, it means that for 5 years.....the PAP and it's crew have been doing nothing other than promising us that the future is 'bright' and wasting their time on their latest temesak holdings investment oversees. And for goodness sake, we are not dumbo....we know who owns temesak holding. It's a government-owned company isn't it?

If I am wrong here.....please feel free to inform me of the correct term of what Temesak Holding should be labelled. Cose after 18 years living in Singapore, I still do not know excatly what kinda company it is suppose to be.

Anyway I came across this interesting quote

So it is Right Angle I am going. I am certainly satisfied with the attachment posting that i have received. Right Angle is like the 1st media company I known since i came to Media Studies outside of Mediacorp and SPH. So it's a case of getting something that i know rather than getting a company that I do not know.

Well the working hours has also been kind to me. At least it does not offically states that i have to work on weekends. While I am still prepared to have to give up some weekends for work's sake. It is indeed comforting to know that my weekends will be free unless told otherwise. Rather than having to permenantly work on saturdays. Like many of my unfortuante classmates.hehe

And No, unlike Siyi, i ain't getting $600 a month. Instead i am gonna get the minimum amount that the school is set. However, there are still people getting less than me. I got the minimum, some people got less than me? do the maths yourself.

So thats my attachment in a nutshell. Have to of course work on the punctuality problem before it gets out of hand.

With all the latest post commenting about just about any other random topics. I thought I just focus a little attention on one of my favorite past and current topic. Myself.

Firstly, anyone who thinks I am one of those 'popular' guys around going out almost everyday, well let me lay rest to that false theory. It's a fiction. My holidays has been one of slow pace and currently one of my biggest regret this hols is that I started lifting weights only just recently and not any earlier. Yup lifting weights equals going gym btw.

With all my 1987 peers going to the army already or waiting to do so. I thought it's high time i start putting on some training by myself instead of just being another young guy going into the army out of shape. Well thats not to say my army friends are out of shape, but i rather go NS in a good shape than a not so good one. Not to mention, solid motivation from Marcus Pereira the past week as well.

Well of course, a slight lack of height means i will never be as build as Brad Pitt......but well, we are all different aren't we.

Other than that, been seeing a few dvds recently and probably a movie today. www.imbd.com A great site to check the rating of any individual movie if you ever want to do so.

Alrite some sports news to spice up your boring life

Jean Alain Boumsong. Now in case you do not know him, this is the guy who did an 'air kick' while attempting to clear a ball and then subsequently wrestled liverpool's peter crouch onto the ground giving away a penalty and getting himself send off.

1) What the heck was he doing? that 'air kick' is the kinda mistake that i ocassionally do while playing soccer. This is French International

2) Why did he have to bring down peter crouch? Peter crouch runs his 100m in 16.2sec. Shoots the ball as well as Singapore's rafi ali. and is as strong as me. Crouchy wun have scored.

10) Micheal Tonge- The new steven gerrard, or supposedly. I wonder where he is now? Last time i saw him, he ran into a referee and was knocked down instead.

9) Gary Neville- One of the living example thats shows how far you can go in life as long as lady luck is smiling at you.

8) Phil Neville- Brother of no 9). One of my fren once said phil neville was better looking than a bald David Beckham.

7) Kavanngh- The white hair guy from wigan. I don't know how they had got away with playing this guy and still being 8th place. But i suspect they will suffer next season and they can thanks him when they are back in the championship.

6) Andy Todd- Blackburn is 6th place. Todd is Blackburn's captain. So is he their best player? Hardly.

5) A. Mokeano- South Africa youngest ever captain. He was compared to by a soccernet writer to be "the closest thing in the premiership to claude makelele" I wonder whether the writer had lost his job. Claude is now probably the fastest captain ever kickout of the South Africa team.

We all pretend to be somebody we all not one time or another.

Some reasons why

1) We want to impress someone and think that the person will not like us for who we are, so we try to be somebody so that the person we like may possibly be more attracted to us.

2) We do not want our friends or people around us to know us for who we really are.

3) We want to imitate someone. For example, we may possibly want to be like Cristiano ronaldo/wayne rooney and therefore develop a kind of arrogance/confident that is attached to these two people.

4) We are sick of being ourselves.

The points that I have pointed out might seem really common, maybe you even tell yourself "hey i seen this or i read this shit before". But look carefully. I assure everyone that you can relate to at least two of the above 4. In other words, you experience at least 2 before.

1) and 2) are pretty common. It is generated usually because we feel we are not as good as wat we think people expect us to be. And dun go fooling yourself that u never been like that once before. Everyone reading this have certainly tried to be someone they are not just so their friends/crush will think better of them.

One word of advice. If you have a bf or gf and you still feel the need to impress them.....well, ermm...good luck, you probably need it.

3) is simple, basically we see someone on Tv. Perhaps David Beckham, Morten Gamst Pedersen, Britney Spears, Jamie Spears and we think hmmm it be great to be like them. And so we do. The consequences? not much actually. Just that you look like a loser when people find out.

If u suffer from 4). Whoa! I shall write about it another time, but its not the end of the world dun worry. You can either seek professional help or wait till i have time to do my 'research' .

Reading http://dineshdayani.blogspot.com reminded me of one of my all time favorite topics. The demand of equality for Woman.

If 'equality' is ever achieve with regards to the two genders, than it would most likely mean the rights of man being compromised in the process.

Firstly what is the meaning of 'equality'? Well the general feeling would be that neither gender gets any extra favour with regards to just about every aspect of life. So there should be no reason why 90% of politicians should be males. There also should not be any reasons why 95% of CEOs are males and certainly no reasons why 100& of constructions people are males.

But here comes the defination of 'equality' from female. " There should be fairness among both gender in everything, but female should be 'protected' " For example, females should be 'protected' from army and need not serve NS unlike males. However should they want to join the army, the army have to grant them an 'equal' opportunity as their male counterparts. Also in the case of a divorce, despite both husband and wife having an 'equal' opportunities to work and established their career, the husband, or should i say ex-husband have to provide an allowance to his ex-wife to 'protect' her while she enjoys life with a younger and possibly better looking guy.

Now notice the word 'equal'. In the context of enlisting for Army, it does not mean that both males and females will be evaluted the same way. It however does means that if 50 male and 50 female both sign up for the army for 10 places ( if that ever happen). 5 places should be given to males, 5 to female. Should only 3 places be granted to female, it will mean the army is a place that practises discrimination. 'Equal' does not mean being fair and seeing both party without gender. 'Equal' means that the female should have a similar chance of obtaining something as the male despite her being possibly weaker and less capable.

The same however does apply the other way. You do not hear a man complaining to the Society for Men's Right (SMR) about how despite his better education qualifications and superior working experience, he lost out in a secretary posititon to a woman. Now man do not ask " hey that is unfair, the bloody boss favours the lady over me, this company practise discrimination". Why not, because man understand one simple concept better than woman, Life is not suppose to be fair.

Well since Temasek Holdings owns so many important companies within Singapore such as SMRT, i will like to raise a question, are they responsible for the actions of the company they owned?

For example, If SMRT hike MRT price citing increase cost in 'staff salaries' and increase cost in 'maintence' after the elections, and the government does it's usual response of saying that they do not have control over 'privately' owned company. Who do we blame for the hike? Who make the decision to hike price.

1)Do we blame the government? who in their defences said they do not owned the company

2)Do we blame the management of the SMRT and their CEO? Well the usual assumption is to blame them since it would most likely be them who imposed the decision to hike price.

3)But then since Temesek Holdings owned SMRT, should it not be them who be blamed? Should we citizens blamed the hike on the CEO of Temaesk Holdings ,Ho Ching and the board of directors?

My answer.....SCREWED IT! If SMRT hike the fare, the only people who deserve to get blamed are naive Singaporeans above the age of 21, people who every five years decides to grant Politicians with so much power in Singapore with even more power.

Instead he says that he actually likes someone else.No one would believe him then. Well now that we look back upon it, i suppose dinesh was telling the truth and he did had a crush on someone else.

I could probably easily named an additional 10 more reasons without thinking, but seeing that most of my readers wun give a shit about it. I thought no one deserve to read any more.

As for PAP supporters, watch this blog as there are going to be some really interesting issues coming up. Just a warning to all politicians, I am observing.

Return of the blogger. Well i know my last proper post about other people's blogs certainly did not win me much fans though it did create quite a number of comments. So i make a slient promise to myself that i will try to be more encouraging in my future posts.

Moving on, exams are out and holidays are in! Now i suppose this two months hols is probably gonna be the most appreciated hols ever as it marks the end of a really stressful semester. I mean when one of your lecturer call it quit midway, it just goes to show that the stress is huge. In addition, like what many pp have said, probably the last time we get some slack before army. So i am going to try enjoy it. This hols also marks the start of a potential 8 months whereby i may not be seeing my poly classmates.

Now at the risk of sounding too sentimental, i am going to write about some of my thoughts upon all these.

First thing, well i have to say that honestly, my classmates are actually a bunch of really nice people. Of course one must get to know each one of them first...for example 1st time i saw lincoln, i thought to myself. "whoa...dun think you wanna know this guy too well". Two years later, i am telling myself "yup i was right!"haha eh juz kidding ar lincoln.

Also being in a media course and all, it really should't be a surprise that we frequently have stories about wats up in the class...man i just missed those D & D jokes and also the *cutie and sweetie* so i decided to make a top ten 'story' of the last two years. Of course, due to the fact that this is a public blog and that everyone can read it. It is my responsiblity as a responsible citizen to ensure that there will not be any offensive remarks.

10) Dinesh's singing debut in ah chak class ( hey give the guy a hand man, it takes guts to sing in front of the class esp when you know your singing sux)

I am tempted to bitch about what is happening these few days, but then i feel it is highly inappropiate to be talking trash on my blog as i wun one others to do the same as well. The reason why i am here updating this blog is thanks to many people in the class, who for the second straight week, refuse to tell me that Edwin Tan lecture at 11am was cancelled. Yeah the usual shit about how it was announce at blah blah day and that how I could not have possibly know there was no class will stir up again. But come on, when i enquire loudly what time class started today, yesterday. The only answer i was receiving was "should be 11" and looks that express what a stupid question i was asking as it was so obvious class will start as usual.

So thanks people from class. And now people like dinesh will said they only knew class was starting later late last night.

Moving on....Zul remarkable ability to score well when he "surely" fail has reach a new level. The guy said he was "sure to fail" azhar test and score real high. He said PR was really difficult and got 33/40. If he is not a genius, he must be a liar.

In any case, i have decided i will not be studying for my exams so i can achieve the Zul effect

Just a short update first

Finally I finished the bulk of the projects due this week. The last 3 days have been extremely hectic for me. Reaching home at 11.15pm 3 straight days is simply the evidance for that...and it's not because i went out wif friends and waste my time. I really use the time to do importants stuffs.

So here i am, finishing my financial report at 6pm ( which is really early in comparison with the other days) and feeling like the smartest man around after doing it. Anyway things finally feel a lot lighter up there in my head as i only need to come school tommorow, compile, print and hand in.

Well i will be in youth camp next week so i guess i will be unable to contribute too much in the group projects. Hopefully me working hard this week can compensatee for that. Btw i am running a half-marathon this sunday.

What on earth am i doing here? i have tons of work, starting with having to write 3 more news article, and yet here i am, wasting my precious friday,11pm, blogging away and trying my best to entertain unappreciative readers.

A comment i heard in school regarding my previous entries from Mr X. " What crap are you writing about, what nonsense, girl?" followed by a " shhhh, it's embarassing just reading it, don't have to announce to the whole world". Both comments directed unto my blog.

Hey people, i will take all these negative comments about my posts and try turn them into positives. On the brightside of things, at least i know people are actually talking about this blog. As the lecturers will put it, "any publicity is good publicity".

Regarding some other news, i have actually start up a new blog where I intend to post some of the essays that i have written for school, especially for National Education. Yes people, we still do propengda at Polytechnics. So basically, instead of wasting my efforts simply writing for a lecturer who will probably not read it for more than 3mins before giving it a B-, i will at least let people who wants to read my overrated essays a chance to. Hopefully the essays won't lead me into too much trouble. One thing i can assure all readers who read my essays is that they WILL be bias. I will announce the new blog address as soon as i feel like it.

Following up on dinesh's latest entry, i firmly believe there are two main kind of people in this world. Group 1 is dumb people, Group 2 is dumb people who think they are smart. I probably belong more to group 2. Of course, do not get offended, I am simply generalising and you are probably in neither group.

In case you are wondering whats up with the previous short entry, i can assure you that even if the entry is meant for you, you probably do not know it, so maybe you should not think too much about it.

And finally, if you are such a fan of my life and want to know what i did today, well basically I am now staying in my new home and the key highlights for today was that i went to the gym, played bowling, kinda fixed up my computer with the help of KH and swim...yes i swam today.

Well i promise i will update the blog last friday and so sorry to those people who kept on clicking on the timothy link only to find it not updated.

Life have been hustle and bustle the last few days because i am shifting home to Simei and yup my parents have offically moved in already so it's just me and my brother at home the last couple of days. The 'big' stuffs have already been moved and the only thing now is all my accessories such as hairgel, perfume, cards and etc.....not to forget 2 huge pile of notes from the last two semester that i have yet to dispose off. Unlike my brother, i don't have the headache of having to move an amzing pile of books as i barely own any :)

Trying my best to best to move on and yes i have been stuck at this line for over 5 mins. I find it funny that some people actually have too much time in their hand that they are actually posting some codes on their blog. This is one person who was probably too engross reading The DaVinci Code.

Before i finish this entry, i have to tell everyone that i am certainly not a guy who loves ~~Woman~~ girls so much that i have to resort to commenting about the girls around me when i blog, this is probably the first and last time ever.

If you think this entry isn't good enough, blame that pretty girl, she just took too much of my concentration off that i can barely write properly. Till next time, and hopefully also, a better entry.

As many of you reading this entry will know, I did a relatively big scale advertising for my blog to draw in readers and I am certainly glad that the advertising worked and then my previous entry seemed to have been read by alot of people.

A number of issues to address

1) For those of you who had been nice enough to advertise my blog for me and are wondering what you might possibly get in return for it......well i agree that there usually isn't such a thing like a free lunch, so i can promise you that should i happen to find out some juicy things about you that i feel like talking about, rest assure that i might think twice about posting it,pretty good deal ar :).

2) I know that many of you guys and girls are always looking for a good read and that my blog possibly might just satisfy that need of yours. However you gotta understand that I am a pretty busy guy who has his own things to do, eg..study for driving, do projects, do camp things, do reading, do *ahem* housework and many more. Therefore you can only expect an entry once every 3-4 days unless i am super free.

3) I did told someone about this, basically because of the kind of topics that i might cover in the future, i find that it is nessecary for a responsible and upright citizen like myself to inform readers that my blog is NC-16. I do not wish to be responsible for wrong upbringing of children and certainly do not want parents knocking on my house door demanding that i apologise for influencing their child the wrong way. Of course it dosen't help with people like dinesh regularly post f**K on the comment board.

4) I will say it again, use the tag box if you are saying something that is not relevant to the entry....And that includes all spam.

5) If u are wondering why there are only two links in my blog. No it is not because they pay me or anything. Basically i still haven figured out how to add links and it's just too time-consuming to learn it.

Well I guess that is all the issues i will want to address, unfortunately there just isn't time for me to cover any specific topics today. I was actually going to comment on politics and the singapore government but i will just save that for another day.

Someone mentioned that i have to post regularly to keep people intersted so i promise an update by friday. Watch this Site!

I am updating this blog more than regular nowadays so it is really a reason why u should come to this site more often. Contray to what many people think, this site is really not close down yet so feel free to advertise http://timho01.blogspot.com to your friends.

If u happen to be one of the lucky few who happen to be able to read my half-past six english, i hope u do not feel than this site will degrade your standard of english. While it is true that frequent exposure to poor writing can lower the standard of one's english, there are still much to be gain by reading different style of writing, whether the style are good or bad.

For those people who are looking to read about what happen in timo's life, I hope u will not be too disappointed about the fact that timothy intends to blog more often about topics that hits his mind rather than what actually is happening in his life. While we are all certainly going to be disappointed that we will be unable to read about the 'interesting' things occuring in timothy's life, i am sure that the tradeoff of entering into the thoughts of the great man himself would be worth it.

In a way, peer pressure from classmates about how it is 'silly' to talk about what happen in one's life has help me decide to change the emphasis from 'myself' to 'my thoughts'. One thing i hope is that my entries would not be deemed to be too contraversial and thus getting me into trouble. Other than that, you can expect entries that are going to be worth reading.

Talking about peer pressure, am i glad to know that everytime someone says "he din study', the emphasis is not at the person but on you! . It really actually means "i did study, but i want you to get screwed" 1) For example in my D&T exams in sec2, "aiyah, D&T study for what? No need one lah". 2) "i din even touch Raphael notes! (but that of course wun stop me from getting 38/40) " and most recently 3)"basic thoery for driving? what on earth is there to study???"

And of course, there is going to be an offical announcement for my classmates in school.

Timothy can safely say that these rumours are totally unjustifed and are the tales of inmature people who are simply out there to make news and grab attention for themselves".

Firstly, the fact that i got too much free time to actaully blog in an entry simply shows the amount of contribution i am putting in for my group projects. Sorry guys.....and girls

Anyway I was forced to say 5 of my personal strengths yesterday during one of the lesson and therefore had to lie 5 times. Ok it's not that i have no strength, but seriously i am the kind who is really is the more humble type and would prefer not to announce what i am good in. Therefore i had to lie about my strength.

On a more serious note, some of the guys had a mini-discussion yesterday about not to speak if 1) You are Lying, 2) You are bitching about someone, 3) You are critizing someone....after absorbing the implications of the statements, i realize that i will be talking a huge lots less if i was to instill such disclipine, in fact the only 'talk' i will make will be about all the good things about myself and blackburn rovers. This shows the kind of person i am.

I was extremely tempted to leave a couple of comments on Dinesh and Zul's blog, however due to a lack of time and the fact that i do not want to think too much, i have decided to give them a break. So for all those people wanting to know who they fancy, you just have to wait or figure it out yourselves

A new semester and a new group, i am currently touching on a pretty sensitive topic and going into uncharted water. In secondary school, that was no problem but in Poly it seems that groups are really important.

I will not deny it, i too am concern about who i am getting in my group.....and unfortunately, experience is the reason behind my concern.

My opinion is that a 'draw lots' system was the most fair. I will not bother explaining why i feel that 'drawing lots' is the most fair, it is pretty obvious. Some people feel that the best course of action was to decide the grouping among our ourselves in the class which is not a bad idea in itself, but in the context of our class, would not really be the best way due to the fragmentation in class.

So yes, drawing lots was the ideal way. Whoever u get, the people u will work with for the semster, isn't that what was done in the first 2 sem?

Thats all and if anyone gets offended by this post, i did not mean it

Timetable

as one blogger put it 'the talk of the town' has been the new timetable. To put it briefly, mon-wed 8pm-5pm. Thursday, end school at 12pm and friday....no school.

Well lets see, mon-wed starts kinda sux because its starts pretty early and end quite late. Thursday class end at 12pm so not bad. Friday no school? come on even i am ashamed of that, its pretty ridiculous if u ask me, not that i am complaining of course

HEy so dun whine that we got 3 8am classes, look at the other class, early class as well as no friday off!

Inspired (in a way) to blog

A series of events had got me back to blogging....

1st) Reading the post of http://dineshdayani.blogspot.com sent me back into the writing mood.
2nd) I am in my school editing suite, i have been down here doing nth waiting for our filiming project to render and then save it on a hard disk. Took more than an hour so anyway, here i am

I delete all my previous entry save the 1st one, And one of the interesting fact i realized was that since e start of last semster hols till now, which is about 6months.....i have about 5 entires log in. That gives it an average of like 1 entry every 1.2 months, not bad huh

That is a guy attitude towards such thing, for example my friend shuan has like 200+ unread mail
